Red Collars

Sometime in the early 70s, a renowned small-town maternity hospital, known for its healthcare and a Director that worked hard and volunteered often, became the scene of a horrific murder. Worst of all, the murder was committed by the beloved Director, and the life of a new-born child was lost. He then committed suicide, and the entire mystery was never truly understood. That is the concept behind FancySquare’s audio-visual iOS horror, Red Collars.

The role of the player is to explore the abandoned hospital and try to figure out what happened all those years ago, and especially why it happened. In order to do this, they will be tasked with immersing themselves in the sounds of the game, which aim to create a 3D environment that could be traversed even without looking. However, players should look, and do so by moving the phone around, as if they were actually standing in the environment.

However, paying attention to the noises of Red Collars will apparently be crucial to solving the mystery, and, as you can see from the reaction video below, potentially nerve-wracking.

Furthermore, there are three endings for players to experience, depending on the actions they take throughout. There may even be a sequel already in the works, so listen out for that, too.

For those that would like to hear a little more about Red Collars, head to the game’s websiteFacebook page, or directly to the Apple store, where this iOS horror can be purchased for $2.99 USD.
